Paternal ppd is 100% a thing. My daughters ped actually has me and dad both answer the questions to check. It is something that should be taken much more serious than it is.

Solutely not they don't have the hormones running in their. What they can get is depression because life changes so quickly and it's not what they expected. It's also been shown that 30% of men get P TSD after birth from watching a wife go through it which causes detachment and depression for several months

It’s called the baby blues. Yes fathers can get it. My husband had it for an entire month after baby was born. By the 2nd month he was finally back to his normal self. It’s real! The hospital classes we took even said the same thing. Don’t take the baby blues lightly from either mom or dad.
