1st C-section scared ,nervous, excited!

Hi all currently 38 weeks 3 days just got told that my baby girl is too chunky to be delivered naturally. My first born was vaginal so I was planning on another vaginal birth, our c section is scheduled for either Wednesday or Thursday of next week so we will have a baby for Valentine's Day! I guess what I'm asking is how does a c section go the process of going to the hospital and then what comes after, I'm nervous and scared because I have heard stories, but so excited to finally meet my baby girl! Any input would be great!
