I’ve been trying to get him off the breast for the last couple of weeks and it is not going well. He turns 1 on the 24th and I need him off! He is drinking the almond milk I’m giving him at snack time and meal times but it he still using me for comfort nursing and in the morning and night for actual feedings. I hope by the time he is 1 that is he only drinking the almond milk but I’m not holding my breath....

My son turns 1 today! This last week I’ve only given him the tiniest bit of organic whole milk (horizon brand) I think in 3 formula bottles total (I didn’t want to overdue it so soon). So after today I’ll really commit transitioning him. So he’ll be on both formula and milk for a couple of weeks until his belly is adjusted. It’s kind of bitter sweet because they’re growing up!

Just breast milk, I don’t plan I’m transitioning to cows milk until he’s closer to weaning which likely won’t be any time soon.

We are just doing breastfeeding.

We have to do an alternative milk because he has a cows milk protein intolerance. A lot of foods also aggravate his reflux so we’ll see at his 1 year check up if they recommend putting him on a toddler formula for the extra nutrients he’s missing from solids

We are transitioning to milk now, from formula. So he gets 4 ounces of each per bottle for now and hopefully will be milk only by the end of the month

My girl turned one on Wednesday and had her 1 year check up today. After talking with her pediatrician we are just going to continue with only breast milk for now. When she starts to wean or I run out of frozen she will start whole milk.
