Successful birth control?

Question

I keep hearing of people getting pregnant when they use an IUD or other form of birth control with a condom. Or just other stories of failure. Anyone have successful birth control stories where they didn't get pregnant?? I need to ease my mind lol. I understand that people report the bad things that happen but I need to hear some straight success here😂

Well you have to remember that those are just stories. people are more likely to share negative stories than positive ones. In clinical studies the IUD is over 99% effective. 
people usually don't go around and just share positive stories about everything. But if they have a negative story then they share it. I take Tylenol all the time, but if one time I took it and I almost died I would probably go online and share it. But I don't go online every single time I take it have no side effects and let everyone know how great it is.

Of course, I reacted the same way when considering birth control options. I pulled the trigger in October 2018 to get Kyleena and it was such a great decision. It’s low hormone and I’ve never been pregnant. My boyfriend and I sometimes use condoms, usually not, and we don’t worry anymore because it’s stayed in it’s proper place the whole time :)

I used just condoms for 3 years never got pregnant. I used mini pills for 2 years without condoms or pull out and never got pregnant. Ive used mirena iud for almost 2 years no condoms or pull out and never got pregnant. 
Planned parenthood cites a studies that shows 95% of pregnancies on birth control are due yo user error. So it rarely fails. Mostly ppl fuck up their methods. Thats why implants and iuds are 99.9% effective even though other methods are similarly close when use correctly. Most ppl dont use their meyhods correctly so the prevention rate falls.
