C section now my feet and legs are swollen! Normal?

The swelling is so bad and I can’t wear any shoes is this normal after a c section!?

Normal. When I left the hospital I had bad swelling on my feet and ankles. The doctor said it would take 1 to 2 weeks for it go down and it did.

I was this way after my vaginal delivery. My Birkenstock’s wouldn’t even fit over my “feet”. Took about 10 days to go down. Super common!!!

Yes very normal. I had the same thing. After 2 weeks it went away. Make sure you walk when you can and drink fluids. It will go away.

I was like this since the day of my c section till 3 weeks after. I ended up with 2 blood clots in my lungs almost dieing. You should get checked just to make sure.

Normal! I experienced the same except for me it was primarily when I was overdoing it postpartum. I was bad about not taking it easy and trying to go about my normal routine. So once I found an even balance between being sure to walk but not overdoing it trying to keep my house spotless- I started to see improvement.

I had a really badly swollen legs - my doctor told me to get a lot of protein -and it really helped me. All was gone 3 days after I added more protein in my diet

Normal. Ask your doctor at your checkup visit to be sure. Get some compression socks and elevate those feet as much as possible (feet should be above your heart).

Mine did this i had mine just over 3 weeks ago. Sadly my blood pressure got really high and I’ve Benn put on medication to lower it but since then the swelling has gone down. How long since your section? I put the socks back on they gave me when it happened and it seemed to help

I was this way after vaginal delivery also. Almost normal again a 2 weeks pp. I was swollen somewhat prior to delivery also
