So I had a 9 week TransVagional ultrasound today and the doctor commented that it was kinda blurry. Does anyone know why this would be?!?! Also they are having me do a 1st trimester glucose test at 13 weeks? Has anyone had this and why do they do it so soon?!? Besides all that baby’s measuring right on and heart beat was 176❤️❤️

First ultrasound I had was cloudy and the technician said it was trapped gas.

My first few ultrasounds were cloudy with my last pregnancy (I had them weekly starting at 6 weeks-8 weeks). The doctor said it was likely a little blood in the womb (I think probably from implantation), which he said was totally normal and would get reabsorbed. It cleared up in a few weeks.

It's to test for gestational diabetes if the person is over 200 lbs. I have to do it to and that's what she told me when I asked why so early.

I have to test at 16 weeks since I had gestational diabetes during my previous pregnancy.

Are you on the bigger side? I know they test sooner if you are. Nothing wrong with it, they just want to take precaution.
