Help pls!! My temperature shows a rise as per predicted ovulation day, but both time ovulation tests (clearblue smiley face) showed negative. How can that be?

I did test on both days in the afternoon, and not first thing in the morning so maybe thats what i did wrong

Thank you. I always have very regular lower temps before ovulation, shift, and higher temps after ovulation. Very text book temperatures. So i just wanted to confirm with an ovulation kit. Very strange that both days showed negative:(

It could be that you tested with the opks at the wrong time and missed your surge. With the digital opks typically you're supposed to use first morning pee.
Temps are far more reliable than opks to confirm ovulation. From your chart it looks like ovulation yesterday - but you need another couple of temps to confirm.

Many factors can cause opks to not show a positive. If you are charting accurately, that’s going to confirm ovulation has indeed happened
