My daughter is 2yrs old and still happy in her crib. She doesn’t try to climb out.

I’ve read a lot of stories where parents transition because their child is not happy or safe in their crib. Since my daughter is we aren’t pushing the move.

However, when is the right time and is waiting longer to make the transition worse?

Im pregnant with my 2nd due in May. But we don’t need our daughters crib so again the transition isn’t forced.
