Normal poop?

Is this poop normal for a formula fed baby? He eats solids 3-4 times a day. It’s almost black and in balls

My baby’s poop is like this fairly often since he started solids, especially if he hasn’t pooped for a day (same colour and texture). His doctor said it was completely fine, but maybe check with yours if you’re still concerned!

Unless you know for certain it was something he ate, I would call the pediatrician.

My little boy is formula fed and also on solids 3 times a day. Last week he had a couple of days of solid poo like this. We just upped his water intake a little and it’s softened off again back to normal. Xx

I don’t think the color is normal. Depending on what he ate. My friends son had poop like this and they sent him to gi so I would double check.
