Hi,

I have recently become a mother of two.

My little boy is almost three and my youngest little boy is just a week old.

It’s been a traumatic couple of weeks with...

-me being admitted to hospital with suspected stroke 😩 (turned out to be a hypoglycaemic episode after starting insulin for gestational diabetes

-pregnancy related problems

-reduced movements

-induced early resulting in long labour

-come home for one day and baby was admitted to special care for high level jaundice

Long story short, I rarely leave my eldest at all and the last few weeks I have been torn away from him and have really tried my hardest to be there for him.

However since we have been home he has been having regular toilets accidents both wee and poo. His behaviour has really changed and on occasions he has told me he doesn’t love me.

Is this normal?

Before bed every night we talk about our day and what we have been up to. Last night his only input was that mommy got cross and out him on the step... this was following him drawing on the wall and when I tried to take the pen away he threw it at the baby.... I HAD to discipline him.

Has anyone else been through this? It’s so hard 😩 any advice would be great!
