My son who has been such a happy, easygoing baby has suddenly become whiny, cries at the drop of a dime and has started hitting his head on the floor when he’s upset. He won’t walk when he has shoes on, he won’t walk period when we’re in public or not home, just cries and wants to be held.

I am blaming myself. I’ve been keeping him isolated since November and he only sees me, and my husband daily and occasionally my parents. He had the flu and has been sick every other week since he turned 1 in November and it’s absolutely freezing out where we live and the snow has not stopped.

Is it because I’m keeping him inside? Is it him becoming a toddler and having tantrums?? I’m very patient and I try not to respond to his tantrums too much but I have no choice but to intervene when he goes to whack his face off the floor purposely 😩
