Tampon missing?!

Sorry for the stupid question but is part of my tampon still in me?! I’m freaking out I pulled it out and looks like the top is missing?! What do i do help !

These (playtex) always look like this When they come out 
They open like a tulip 
So they don’t always look perfect because they sorta have “folds”

It is highly unlikely, tampon "broke" in you it is just probably engoged tampon tip. But if worried. Go to a doctor.

You should be sure that is not inside of you just to be sure. I have had toxic shock syndrome, you can die. I’m not saying that to scare you, it is reality. I had a tampon stuck inside of me for a week, because I had sex with one in, and had not realized I had not taken it out. Judge me if you want, I don’t care. I started to feel really uncomfortable and my boyfriend at the time thought he felt something inside of me. I asked him to see if there was and he pulled it out (bless his heart). And I IMMEDIATELY felt sick. Nauseous, light headed. I had to go to the emergency room and get antibiotics to make sure I killed anything inside of me from that nasty tampon. Just be safe with that type of thing.

Did you use an applicator when you inserted it? Because it may have looked like that before you used it. It is very unlikely that it broke off inside you if it was without damage. If your worried, squat down like a softball catcher and feel around. This will give you the best angle. If you are really worried or you notice a smell in the next couple days, go to a doctor.
