I know I’ll get a wide array of Opinions but my doctor told me she offers elective inductions after 39 weeks. She’s going to be on vacation right after I hit 39, so if I go naturally she won’t be around.

We had a slight high BP scare earlier this week and she almost wanted to induce me tomorrow at 37+5 but it went back down to normal.. we were almost looking forward to it knowing that our doctor would be the one to deliver.

I know most of the research shows that before 40, inductions are usually fairly successful - as it happens after 40 weeks they tend to end up in c sections more often.

Thoughts for a FTM on an elective at 39?
