Why does everyone think my pregnancy was an accident?!

I am 17 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child. I have two young children ages 2 and 4. Everyone keeps asking if my pregnancy was an accident! I take it as an insult. We tried for a year for this baby. All my babies were planned!

I have 3. A 3yo and a 20 mo old and my youngest is 2mo. I get crazy looks and asked the same. No she wasn’t “planned” but we knew we wanted more anyway so I always said yes.

People do me the same way because there will be a ten year age gap between my oldest and this baby. I can understand in my situation, but not so much in yours.

My husband is 25, I'll be 25 next month, my husband and I have been together for over 10 years, married for over 2 years. We've been doing everything the "right (traditional) way". I'm about 12 weeks along right now and I've had a couple people ask if it was an accident. My grandmother even asked if it was an accident. I feel like it's always going to be a question no matter what happens.

People are so rude and thoughtless sometimes! With my little girl people presumed that she wasn’t planned just because my partner and I aren’t married yet. We would love to be eventually, but for us our priority was starting a family! x

I got asked this a lot about my second. Because we conceived with her when my son was 7 months old people automatically assume she wasnt planned due the age gap. I'm sick of repeating that we wanted them close in age and we just let nature take its course.
