I’m 5 weeks pregnant and don’t have my first dr. appt for 3 more weeks. I told my husband I didn’t want to tell a soul until after the first appointment since I’m a little older and higher at risk. Then we planned to tell our parents and close friends etc. and save the big announcement for once I’m in the second trimester.

Well I just found out he’s told everyone and their brother. His parents know so we won’t get to do a cute announcement to surprise them like I had wanted. Now I find out that he blabbed to his ex wife accidentally. I haven’t even told my own parents yet and his ex wife knows?! I’m livid.

He’s apologized a million times and I know it wasn’t malicious. He’s a terrible secret keeper when he’s excited. But he knew how important this was to me and couldn’t help himself. The damage is done and there’s nothing I can do about it now so I guess I just need to get over it. But man, am I frustrated and bummed!
