Best 2010+ sedan car for fam of 3???

Question

Hey mamas! We want to get a nice sedan with our tax returns. We have one baby and I go to college 35 miles away everyday so we want a good gas car! We plan on buying an SUV in 2 years or so, when we expand the family but would like to have a nice car too. 
Preferably Chevy, Toyota, Ford, etc. nothing crazy like a Beamer or anything 😂 my fiancé knows how to work on those types of cars. He’s a Chevy guy but I wanna know what you mamas know! Thanks 😘

We have a 2020 Toyota Corolla.  It's so pretty!! We love it! Lots of room and great on  gas!

Nissan Sentra SV 2017 l, has enough space in the trunk and its economic, I save gas with this car.

I had a Hyundai Elantra GT (hatchback model) and i LOVED that car. We only got rid of it because we moved to where it snows and was approaching 100K miles so wanted something before it gave out, but I never had any issues with it.

I bought a Kia Optima hybrid in 2012 and it’s still running beautifully! My husband and I are super tall people and it has plenty of room for us. My son basically grew up in that back seat and it had enough room for his car seat. I got the Kia with all the bells and whistles (moon roof, leather, heated seats and heated steering wheel, etc) for the same price as a baseline Toyota Camry. I was in college driving a 30-45 minute commute one way and it was amazing on gas! My husband drives it now with a 40 mile commute (about an hour) and it’s still kicking just fine! We fill it up maybe once a week.

Honda and Toyota are very reliable. My family has owned several Accords and Camrys and never had any issues above routine maintenance. Many of us have put well over 200K miles on our vehicles without issues!

I have a 2017 Chevy equinox and I love it. Great room. Gas too since I drive 45 min to work. First season of winter with it and so far no problems.

Hyundai is great! Had mine since 2013 and it’s been across the country 5 times and did pretty decent on the Montana roads. Had to upgrade to an SUV though because 1. I didn’t take good care of it in my teens and 2. They don’t take care of the roads in our town so it’s either a sheet of ice or dodging pot holes😂
