My baby has a bald spot

Ok this just seriously happened over night. I’ve taken her to the doctor and they did a culture but I won’t know anything for 30-45 days. Any suggestions on what you think may have caused it? I asked could it be a ringworm but her doctor said no. I. Iced some vaseline and sulfur 8 to try to keep it from being dry but idk what else to do!!! Send help
