How many pee diapers should a 1 year old have a day?

You always hear about how many wet diapers an infant should have but i cant find anything about toddlers.

Well the older they get they generally hold it a little longer so you won’t need to change them every couple hours like you do a baby. I would say when they’re wet just change them, and only worry if they stay completely dry all day long or longer than that because it could mean a bladder infection or something.

My son is 16 month. I change him when he gets up, before meals, before we leave the house, and if I know he has pooped. Sometimes his diapers are barely wet.

I have learnt as they get older they learn to hold it bit longer so your not changing as many diaper as you used too
