. I am wondering how okay it would be for me to watch another person's child in my home? I'm not sure how common that is, or if anyone would even be okay with that.

The reason I would watch a child at my home instead of going to the parent is because I have 2 little ones (1yr old & 2.5 yr old who will soon be in preschool) and I don't have anyone to care for my babies while I watch someone else's babies or while I work a job.

I do have childcare experience (regular babysitting & mommy's helper) and I will be getting recertified in BLS + CPR before I even offer my services. I'm not planning to charge much, maybe between $10-15, max $50 a day depending on if I have to go and pick up the child from school, or if the parent asks me for an errand.

It would not be an in-home daycare, it would just be me caring for another person's child.

Edit-- i'm in the US, and idk if there are certifications and licenses required here even if it isn't a daycare.
