Could first baby come early?

I had an ultrasound done today & the tech said the baby is measuring 9 days early. I’ll be 30 weeks tomorrow. Could the baby come a week or 2 earlier? It’s my first one and people usually say they tend to come a little after 40 weeks. Anyone here had there first baby early?

My first came early and was measuring behind! Measuring ahead like that just means your baby is a little bigger than average, and not an indication of when they will come.

My first came at 37w exactly with no rhyme or reason.

My first came 5 days early! And very quickly too. Water broke at 12:30 am, contractions started at 1:00 am and baby boy arrived at 3:37 am. I was already with baby’s head descending at home and in the hospital when I got there my body really wanted to push but I had to wait for my doctor to be able to fully push so he would have arrived sooner. Everything escalated so so quickly! And my mom thought I was gonna be a while when my water broke because of the whole “first timer” stereotypes lol. Listen to your body mama! ♥️ Good luck to you✨

Had my first the earliest at 38 weeks he was measuring bigger but born 7lb3oz my 2nd was my biggest 8lb8oz born the latest at 39w3d

It's possible baby could come early but their size doesnt play a part in that. My first was a tiny 5 pound baby and came 2 weeks early.

Mine measured 2 weeks ahead since 24 weeks but came a week late. Unfortunately their measurement doesn't indicate when they'll come.

Mine came at 38+5. I wasn’t dilated at all and my cervix was closed when I got to the hospital, but my water had broken in the middle of the night.

It will all come down to your body and baby my first was a week overdue and was born at 41 weeks measured a few days ahead my second was born 41 weeks as well and he measured an entire week ahead. Both my boys were inductions.
