So my little one loves to eat! He breastfeeds about 10 minutes after waking whether that’s from night sleep or a nap. Then about an hour after that we offer breakfast, lunch or supper depending on what time of day it is. And then sometimes he still wants more breast milk about 30 min before going down for a nap or bed. We offer him solid food first like what we’re eating and then when he gets frustrated with the food because it falls out of his hands or doesn’t make it to his mouth we offer him purées. Sometimes he takes the spoon and does it himself other times he just wants us to do it. But often about half way through the meal he starts fussing and screaming like we can’t feed him fast enough or he doesn’t want us doing it anymore and is just frustrated. He does the same fussiness when trying to move on his tummy but not able to figure it out. I feel so bad for the guy, he’s so happy until he can’t do something he wants to do 😢 thanks for reading my monologue
