Is it normal for my period to do this?
For some background information:
I did not have my period for about 5-6 months as my cycle is still inconsistent. However, my period came up and last for a month. It wasn’t heavy flow, though. It was as if the days of a week were prolonged. (My first day, which was the lightest, perhaps last to 3-4 days instead.) I had assumed it was normal because I hadn’t had my period for so long. After less than a month or so, it stopped and I awaited for the next time it would come. When it did, it was still early compared to when I just had it. (It wasn’t even a whole month later!)
For about 2/3 months I have been having a non stop period. I don’t mean bleeding excessively 24/7 as it does lighten near the beginning and end of everything round. There are times where a pad is fully used but other times where I only need a panty liner. But, it’s almost as if my period overlaps the next date due to the prolonged time for one round of a period and therefore never fully gone.
I’m not sure if this is a serious medical issue or simply because my hormones are changing and therefore causing my body to be disorderly.
