How often should I pump? FTM

Question

I started pumping when my milk came in the other day because I need to build a decent stash for when I go back to work and so I have some for my fiancé to give her a bottle and some stored for when we have a babysitter 
Should I have a pumping schedule? Is it possible to overpump? 
As of right now I’m pumping after most feedings during the day and not at all at night.

It’s better to have an oversupply, so pump after baby feeds and then try to get on a schedule.  Every three hours is recommended, but if you have a fairly steady supply, you might be able to pump every 4-5 hours.  In the beginning, pump a bit more to make sure you’ll have enough then figure out a routine
