Loving a Video Gaming Man
Let's be real here. When it comes to talking about video games some men get weak in the knees.
My man, like many others, loves his video games and sometimes they come first. At first walking into the relationship you think it's cute that he has his little past time but that the main focus is you. Eventually you realize that his games mean more to him than just a simple past time. My sisters, resist the urge to get upset when games come first.
Obviously I wasn't immediately okay with him playing his game on an almost daily basis, and yes it did start fights. But, what really helped me was really thinking and asking myself what do I on a daily basis or frequently enough that he doesn't complain about...it came down to being on my phone.
I hate to say it but my phone is almost always in my hand, and even now as he is playing his game guess what I am on my phone writing this. After some deep consideration and rethinking my thoughts I became more okay with the games.
Complaining about the games only caused problems, embracing them made peace.
So my ladies, don't sweat the games maybe try to play them. Who knows it may make your man really happy.
