Am I overreacting?
My son just turned 1 in January and is on pediasure instead of formula (he's had issues with weight gain his whole life despite eating like a baby cow). My husband for some reason decided to leave open cans with a little bit left in the fridge for over 2 weeks uncovered, he didnt even attempt to put it in another container. I didn't know about these cans until this morning when I asked him to get up and make our sons bottle since I was up with him for 3 hours last night and I'm almost 7 months pregnant. Instead of just using a fresh can like I have taught him a hundred times, he decided to use the nasty cans in the fridge that literally had crust on the rim and then got pissed and accused me of being an overreacting bitch when I immediately panicked knowing he was going to get food poisoning from it and told him he should have never even saved the cans in the first place, I didnt cuss him out, didn't call him stupid, didn't degrade him in ANY way. I just immediately asked him why he would do that and if he would drink a can of milk that had been left in the open air in the fridge for 2 weeks. He just got pissed off, put on his jacket and shoes and walked out. So am I being the asshole here? Or am I justified in being upset he just caused our kid to most likely have the shits and barf his little head off for the rest of the day 😟
