Zoloft for anxiety??

I have been dealing with anxiety for a long time but it has gotten much worse in the past 2 years mostly likely due to infertility. My doctor is putting me on Zoloft to try to help decrease my anxiety and mild depression also in hopes that I can conceive once my street is in check. I'm really nervous about being "medicated" as I've never taken anything like this before. And tips or advise would be very appreciated

I am on day 12 of zoloft for MDD and GAD. Crossing my fingers it helps for myself and you as well! I have heard good things of it

I was on that for a couple of months. Take the medication as prescribed. Try not to miss a dose. Keep an a feel on your body. 2 months while I was using it I was experiencing light headedness and very high blood pressure which was very abnormal for me. It's okay to take medication. It took me 8 years to finally talk about my anxiety and depression to my doctor and that's a very huge step. You are strong and powerful!

It’s ok to take medication. I’ve been on it on and off for the last 10 years.  Zoloft is completely safe to keep taking once you do conceive, so you won’t have to worry about weaning yourself off of it. It will take 6-8 weeks to reach a therapeutic level, so don’t stop taking it if you feel like it’s not working.  It worked really well for me.
