To induce or not....HELP

Hello ladies, I am currently 38weeks-3days.. my dude date is Feb 20 but my doctor wants to induce me this Friday Feb 14. The reason for induction is because my BMI is 39... I am 5’6” and I weight 222lbs. This is my first pregnancy and I only gained 4lbs. I was going to have a c-section at 37weeks because I had complete placenta previa but literally the day before my appointment the placenta moved and I was cleared for vaginal delivery!!! Thank God! But now I’m not sure if I want to be induced because of all the medicine that goes along with induction. Also, my Doctor is not giving me a choice whether to induce or not so I’m very anxious and upset. What do you guys think? Any experiences negative or positive about inductions? I know every body is different but I’d like to know your point of view. Thank you!
