Shaving after c section?

I need to shave down below bad. When is it ok to shave after c section? I hate to go to my doctor the way I am down there. I’m 6 weeks tomorrow appt Wednesday.

I shaved a little before my 6 week appointment. It’s fine. Just go slow and gentle. I’m 2 months postpartum and even now, I’m still taking it slow.
