Baby rolling in sleep trouble
I have read many different posts, but decided to post my specific story for help.
My almost 5 month old has been rolling over back to belly consistently for weeks. For the past week she has loved sleeping on her side during naps and at night. She spent the night at my in-laws last night and they said she slept on her side like normal. Now that she is back home she wants to roll all the way onto her belly to sleep. I wouldn’t be worried if she could turn her head to the side or roll from belly to back but it doesn’t look like she has those skills mastered yet. She can pick her head up straight just fine, but she has trouble when it comes to turning it left and right when on her tummy. She is not a big fan of tummy time for more than 5 minutes at a time anyway. She cries to let us know she needs help, but it happens almost instantly when we lay her down on her back. As soon as we help her I can turn around to leave her crib and she is already on her tummy again crying for help. Face down in the mattress. Sometimes she still has her pacifier in her mouth and other times she doesn’t. The only things in her crib are her and the fitted sheet on the mattress. Is there anything I can do to help her get comfortable sleep and not be face down in her mattress?
