Sudden onset of clots? TMI

Question

I dont normally get clots on my period, especially on medium/light flow cycles. But this time i have gotten several clots. Has this happened to you before and was it a sign of a health condition? I dont think i was pregnant, but would a very early miscarriage cause this type of clot?

They look like normal clots to me. Pregnancy test would remain positive for a while after miscarriage if you would like to be sure

I’ve had similar a few times. One was so big I freaked out and immediately made an appointment with my OBGYN. She checked me out and said it just happens sometimes and not to worry unless it becomes common. Sometimes the blood sits in there and clots from just being there too long, like when you sleep or lay down.

All I can say is that looks like what my normal periods looked like. I had very clotted period. But I did find out that I also have a clotting disorder. Not sure if the 2 are connected.
