I don’t know if anyone remembers my post back in May about getting legal custody of our daughter after her birth mother terminated her rights after giving birth. But, our adoption will be finalized on February 24th! 9 months and mountains of stress later she’s going to finally be all ours forever. And she’ll finally get a legal name. For 9 months her legal name has been “Infant Johnson”. It’s been so amazing to experience motherhood with her, she has made my life so much better after losing two babies to miscarriages. She’s gotten so big, and she’s so so so smart. Somehow she looks like my husband with just a hint of me, it’s like she was meant to be in our little family.
