So here we go!

I was pregnant and due late April and when I went in for my first ultrasound at 10 weeks there was sadly no heartbeat to be found and the fetus had stopped growing around nine weeks. I decided to let nature take it’s course but after two weeks I scheduled myself for a D&C procedure. I ended up getting an ambulance ride and an emergency D&C three days before my procedure because of heavy bleeding! So my best advice is if you were told that you had a missed miscarriage to schedule your DNC promptly! That was my second miscarriage. My first miscarriage was right around five weeks and I found out that it was something called a blighted ovum, which basically means that there was never an embryo or fetus there was just an empty gestational sack. That one happened on its own.

So with all that being said today I have an ultrasound, I am six weeks and six days and I am full of nerves! I’m just hoping and praying and crossing all my fingers that I go in and they find a strong heartbeat and everything goes well. 🌈🌈❤️

I do need to mention too that I have a beautiful little boy who will be 4 in April! He has been my focus through everything!
