How long are you waiting?

This is our rainbow and we got our heart rate and size confirmed on Thursday. Today we are 8 weeks and 4 days. How long are you guys waiting to announce? I don’t think I’ll make it 12 weeks.

I’m going to announce next week (8 weeks). We did IVF and had genetic screening before implanting him. We know he was a viable embryo and at my ultrasound last week she said less than 5% chance of losing him so I’m confident in announcing. I definitely can’t wait until 12 weeks. This has been 4 years in the making!! Way too excited 🎉😊

There’s only about a 2% difference in the chances of miscarriage between 8 and 12 weeks. Just announce when you feel comfortable.

We waited to tell anyone until 12 weeks with our first baby, and my mom was upset that we waited that long to tell her. 
“I’m sorry, I thought you were supposed to wait that long!” 
“Well not with your mother!” She said, as she swatted her pregnant daughter with an over mitt. 🤣
With our second, we told earlier, but I don’t remember when it was. 
Now that I’m pregnant again, I am so confused about how and when to tell people! I think that the more babies you have, the less exciting it is for everyone else (not in a bad way), so I’m trying to figure out a way to tell them without trying to make too big a deal out of it. You know?

We tell close family after the first ultrasound 8/9 weeks, then announced to everyone else after 12 weeks.

I’m going to wait until we find out the gender. Hopefully with the blood test at 10 weeks. (2 more weeks) I’m going to a gender reveal for my daughter to find out if she’s having a brother or sister and then post the video for all our friends and family that don’t know yet.

I’m going for a private scan tomorrow as I’ve had my scan appointment through and it’s not until nearly 14 weeks so I’ve got no choice but to wait until 14 weeks to announce 🤬 so annoying xxx

My grandparents told me they hope they die before I have children (they hate children) so I'm horrified of announcing. Idk, probably at birth.
