So I’m pregnant with #2.

My husbands cousin is pregnant with her first. We are a close family. I was planning to wait a while to tell people I was pregnant this time around. We were thinking about waiting until we have the anatomy scan to confirm the sex... His cousins baby shower is in May. I will be 16 weeks. If I carry like I did with my son, I will be able to hide it without issue. However, if I pop earlier.. it will be hard to hide. His family is also very blunt.... so if someone thinks I’m pregnant, they will call me on it.

I don’t want to take away any part of her day.

Do I tell the family before the shower so it’s “old news” by the time the shower comes.... or do I try and hide it and see what happens?
