12 Day Period - Concerned

Hi all,

Long story short - my normal period ended about 3 weeks ago, but just one week later my period came again... and it’s lasted 12 days. Should I be concerned?? Any recommendations? I spoke to a doctor 5 days ago when I was on day 7 and they just recommended to continue taking my birth control as recommended.

I think this second period came because I skipped one day of the pill and doubled up the next day plus I’m on week two of keto... but now I’m concerned.
