When should I test?

How long should I wait to test? My friend tested at 10dpo and was negative and still ended up pregnant. I want to save myself from disappointment.

Yes TRY and wait until your missed period.. but typically between 10days to your period. Everyone's bodies and HCG levels are difference so just because it was early for one doesn't mean it will be for you. There are some women who still get a negative even a week or 2 after their missed periods.
