Bladder infection?

Question

Has anyone had to take medicine for a bladder infection while pregnant. I’m 8 weeks and some days and my doctor just called and said that I had bacteria in my urine at my last appointment.

I had a UTI and had to take antibiotics I just googled them and made sure they were safe to take whilst pregnant xxx

They are safe and common in pregnancy 
The antibiotics made me physically soo nauseous and sick though

Tomorrow I’m finishing up a 7 day course of amoxicillin because I had group b strep in my urine. So a UTI. Luckily haven’t had any major side effects from that. Also had a yeast infection, so have been doing monistat 7 alongside that. Hoping they’ll both be cleared up. Pregnancy is so fun! Good luck.

I also got the call that I had bacteria in my urine after my first appointment at 7w3d. I was prescribed cephalexin because I’m allergic to penicillin.  Had to take it 3x a day for a week and it sucked. It made my nausea worse 🤢
But it’s safe to take the antibiotics your doc prescribed. And better to take care of it now before it leads to a UTI. Good luck!
