hey mamas, i’m 6 weeks pp today and i believe i’m having my period, i was completely done bleeding and was just having discharge and then yesterday dark red blood all day and today, i exclusively bread feed and heard you typically don’t get your period but you can, does this sound like my period? ugh i was so excited to be done wearing pads

No it sounds like pp bleeding.

I thought this happened to me too but it was just leftover bleeding. It kind of started and stopped randomly for awhile and now it’s just stopped totally at 12 weeks.

I’ll be 11 weeks postpartum tomorrow and I just had my first period 😫 I thought it wouldn’t happen because I EBF my daughter but I was wrong

Got my period at 5 weeks postpartum. Sounds like your period to me

I’m EBF and and started my period at 7 weeks pp. it was light and then got heavier and now currently spotting again as if I’m almost done. So it is possible. Everyone is different and there are many who have a period while BF. Unfortunately lol
