Any Moms have Ulcerative Colitis?

I've had U.C pretty much my whole life, I got pregnant when I was 19 and got really sick with my U.C and had to stay in the hospital for 3 weeks. My family wants me to have another baby but I'm so scared to get sick again. Did you get sick every pregnancy?

Hi I have UC and currently 13wks pregnant with first babies (twins!). My UC has been ok during 1st trimester but I've just started a flare up and need to take steroids :/ anyone else been on steroids whilst pregnant?

I've had uc since I was 9. I haven't had any kids yet but my good friend also has it and got really sick when she was preggers... It makes me nervous

Hi, I have ulcerative colitis and noticed the moment I got pregnant I started to have 5-8 Bms a day. Now, 6 weeks along the blood started. My doc just put me on canasa suppositories to try to get it under control, and I'm already taking 4 apriso per day. I hope everything is ok in there! God bless you! Did you decide if you want to have more kids? It should be your decision and not your family's honestly! No one knows how awful this disease can be but us!

I don't have it sorry but my hubby has recently been diagnosed. How do you deal with it? I'm still learning & figuring out what's good for him to eat. It is pretty stressful for him. I'm sorry you're going through it :(
