Is it weird if my doctor never measures my fundal height? I’ll be 34 weeks tomorrow and he hasn’t done it at all. I feel like with my first pregnancy I had it done multiple times by now, but that was with a different OB.

Mine did it once at 33 weeks. (But still the old practice I went to it was every week from 32 weeks on) I was told by one of the docs in the office I go to they can see how well baby is growing just by looking at you. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I also had a growth scan at 32 weeks and have one this week too.

It's inaccurate and just old practice.  With all of the charting with the scans, the outside of your stomach isn't necessary.

With my last pregnancy they did it every week from 16 weeks on. This pregnancy they just started at my last appointment when I was 31 weeks. I was assuming maybe it’s because I weigh more this pregnancy so they can’t get an accurate measurement cause I’m too fat 😂 but I could be wrong

Some doctors just feel and some use a tape measure. That is information that came directly from my OB last week. Does your doctor at least feel your stomach?
