Hello!

Sorry if this is long. Just have a lot on my mind.

About a month ago my boyfriend got a notice from his landlord telling him he needs to get rid of his two dogs within five days or he will be evicted. Come to find out he never told his landlord he had dogs. My friend was able to take them for the next month and a half, but now he wants to find a place by April first. (He gave his current landlord a 60 day notice). At first I thought that’s what was right and that it would all fall into place. Now I’m not so sure.. we’ve toured two apartments so far and they are both too much money right now. I work in the entertainment business and work has been slow the past two months, but is picking up this spring. He gets money from the Navy for school but it’s barely enough for all of his bills. If we don’t find a place he’s going to move in with his dad, but his dad doesn’t want the dogs. His dad lives 45 minutes away.

For me personally, I don’t think it’s the right time for us to move in. We’ve been together almost a year and have spent almost every day together. I love that, but at the same time think maybe him moving to his dad’s would give us both some more independence and help both of us save up some more. As for the dogs, I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to ask my friend to keep them longer because I feel bad enough as it is. I also don’t want to see them go to the humane society.

Just need some advice! It’s such a tough decision.
