Meds to start a period??

Question

I haven’t had my period in 6 months after stopping the pill. I was on the pill for about 7 years. My doctor told me to come in and the possibility of medication. Anyone have a similar experience? What do you think they will do about it? What medication would they be putting me on? My appointment is Friday.

I am going through the same thing. Currently trying to conceive baby #2. I got my IUD out in mid November and haven't had a period myself. My periods were never really regular to begin with so my first one was a miracle. I have an appointment next week to go get my annual check up and I will talk to my OBGYN about inducing a period.

I've been off BC for 3 months and I was worried that I hadn't started a period either. I set up an appt to see if i could have my hormones tested but dr said it was too soon since removing mirena was only 3 months ago. Dr decided tey Metformin to help with my periods and I haven't even been on it one week and already got my period....after 3 years of Mirena.
