First Time Trying To Concieve

Ok ladies, so I have a question (I’ll ask first and then give you a “bit” more info in case any of y’all are interested cuz I like to embellish 😅 )

My question is: I’m thinking of starting the process to prepare my body for having my girat child. What are some things I should do and get?

I didn’t even really know that was a thing to prep your body but it makes sense.

My husband and I have been going back and forth on whether we want a baby, I’ve actually been ready for the last 3-4 months, but he hasn’t felt ready. Now I realize it could have been that we hadn’t been sealed yet and now he feels like we are now an eternal family so we can move in to the next step. I told him though that I’m excited but where we are moving, if I happen to get pregnant right off the bat I won’t be of much help. I could pack but would not be able to lift any hockey really (although I don’t even know the weight limit or when it really becomes a risk) so we kind of decided to maybe wait til mid March when we are all moved it (although I’m kinda scared to do that because it took a long time to convince him and I’m worried he might say wait till after the semester 🤷🏻‍♀️ ) but back on topic I didn’t even know it’s smart to prep your body, I was just going to do ovulation tests until I was fertile then tell my husband oportunity is knocking and only has a small window. So I’m wonder what are some does and don’t that I (and even my husband if there are things for him to do as well) can to to make my body baby making ready?

On another note I took my first pregnancy test just to see how they work. It was kinda interesting, knew it would be negative but I wanted to try one 🤷🏻‍♀️
