Adjusting babies bed time...

I don’t know how it happened, but my daughter’s (5 months) bedtime is 12am. She goes down at about 9pm but wakes often and fights it until 12am. From then she sleeps well-ish, until about 3:30am, then she has a quick feed and goes right back out. That part is great, except my toddler boys wake me up at 5:30am every day and I’m about to drop dead. Less that 5 hours of sleep every day. 💀 My toddlers are savages and I’m exhausted. Princess, who kept me up until midnight, usually takes another feeding around 7am and then sleeps until 9am. 😑😑😑 I tried putting her to be even earlier, 6pm/7pm-ish, that didn’t work. Sleep sacks don’t work. She has a solid bed time routine.

It’s frustrating because I don’t mind the 3 1/2 hour wakes ups, I just wish she was going to sleep at 7-9pm, heck, even 10 would be great at this point. 😂

Anyways, I recently got the advice to wake her up in the morning to ‘reset her internal clock’. Example would be to wake her up at 6am or 7am and keep her awake for a little bit and then put her down for a ‘morning nap’ versus letting her sleep in until 9. Has anyone done this? Did it work?

Update: I woke her up at 7 the morning after I made this post. She fell asleep playing with her toys a couple of times, but I think it helped! She fell asleep at 10pm last night. 🙌🏻 She did have a weird 4am wake up where she acted like she didn’t want to go back out, but all she did was coo in her crib for 15 min and then fell asleep. We woke her up at 7 again this morning. 🤞🏼
