Looks like I will be scheduling a planned c-section for a breeched baby. Still a few weeks out but trying to wrap my head around it...

Can anyone give me an idea of what those first few hours are like once you are in recovery? My husband has it in his head our family will come in immediately from the waiting room, but I want to feel ready and like I had quality time to breastfeed and do skin-to-skin. It will ultimately be my decision, not his, but how long after a c-section did you feel prepared for family to come in?
