I had posted something about my in laws coming to town for our daughters baptism a few days ago and now want to add something....

We had invited our in laws to stay with us for 5 days with us this next week to help us and get some grandparent time as well. Now his sister and brother and law also want to stay with us but I’m telling them 4 ppl in the house is too much for us while I’m on maternity leave and still trying to heal with a 6 week old baby. So now his parents said something like “well if having 4 ppl in your house is too much for you than having the two of us alone must be too much for you also. So we will just come back another time.” Now they want to come back when my husband is on his paternity leave in April but I’ll be back at work... and I don’t want them coming when I’m working/emotional/not at home with baby girl to supervise. That’s why I thought the feb week would be better for us since husband and I will both be off. I’ve tried to offer my thoughts but everyone seems to be mad at me for not wanting to host 4 ppl, all in laws in our home when I’m only 6 weeks post partum and still adjusting.
