Hoping someone else here is in the same situation 🙈

I am ttc with my partner. I have a son from a previous marriage but this will be my partners first baby. He was the one who initiated conversations about wanting to have our own and being ready so we decided this month to start to try.

I downloaded glow and tracked my cycle to know when our fertile window was. We dtd a few times during the window and are now in the 2ww.

I spoke to him this morning and just happened to mention my app said we might be able to test at the weekend. I was expecting him to be equally as excited as me whether it had “worked” but his response was “why not just wait to see if you come on?” I said I’d like to know either way as I’m excited and have some health issues I need to watch closer if I am pregnant, and stupidly asked was he not excited too 🙄

His response was “I am excited but I just don’t want any pressure to perform”.

Am I wrong to be a little upset about this? We made the decision together to try and I didn’t bug him during my fertile window...I just thought we were on the journey together and would be excited together.

Now it feels like I can’t talk about OV or 2ww in case it’s causing “pressure”
