Need advice from working moms
I’m on parental leave from work until May when LO will be nearly 5 months old. Today she’s 7 weeks and change and has started sleeping at night from 11-5am, feeding for half an hour, and then sleeping another hour or two. I know (and hope) her sleep will get even better and more predictable before I go back to work, but how do working moms do it? How do you get enough sleep to function, and then get baby ready for daycare or whatever, get her there, and also get yourself ready and to work? Seriously, I need to know this is possible and how you do it. Should I hire a morning sitter to come help? Should I skip daycare altogether and opt for a nanny instead, assuming it’s not completely cost prohibitive? I have a wonderful helpful husband who also needs to get himself ready and to work.
