Yesterday I was supposed to be 7w+6d and I had my first ultrasound. It didn't go well. I'm measuring 2 weeks behind and the heart rate is very low (36 bpm) They booked me in for a follow up ultrasound next Tuesday but told me the chances are the pregnancy won't be successful. I'm so sad but also trying to stay hopeful. There is still a heart beat so that's a good thing. I know there is a chance I could have ovulated later than I thought but the first day of my last period was December 17th (period lasted 4 days) and I had a faint line on January 9th and a bfp on January 11

th. No matter how I look at it I can make these numbers make sense.
