Ovulation tests can get confused with HCG in your system. I would take a pregnancy test to see what the result is. This happened to me and I had an ectopic. I’m SURE that’s not it but thought it might be helpful to know 💜 it’s also not that uncommon to have heavier implantation bleeding and mistake it for your period

I get LH surges during my period, I usually wait until 2-3 days after it ends to start opks. Even then they start out fairly dark and light after I've ovulated.
